Scrap / Marrakesh Quilts

2020 - 2021

The quilt top shown on the left uses only scraps from the quilt made on the right, which was made for the birth of my cousin's baby and uses the Marrakesh pattern by Tara Faughnan. The scrap quilt was loosely inspired by the concept of a sampler quilt, using as many configurations of right square triangles as I could think of. The colors are inspired by popular Art Deco palettes. Both are between 40-45" square.
